What makes a great protective Style?

Braids, Hair Extensions, Locs, Twists, and Wigs are just some of the techniques used to create incredible Protective Styles. These styles are used to maintain the health of natural hair. Protective Styles are also done when the hair is transitioning from a relaxer to natural hair. When wearing a Protective Style, you don’t have to be bothered with your hair for at least a week, some hold the style for two weeks. Other styles like braids or hair extensions are extended from 3-4  weeks, which at times when the problems occur. Leaving a style like braids or hair extension (weave) in your hair for too long can cause damage (alopecia) due to the weight of the braids or weave. Breakage/ Hair loss also occurs because of lack of oxygen which can cause salt build-up. To keep hair healthy, before starting your style:
